Hello Skyview families,

 

We hope you are getting excited about the upcoming school year! 

 

As we prepare for our first day on August 28, we wanted to share some important dates and times with you that will be important to remember. 

 

PLEASE NOTE:

  • The first day of kindergarten is September 3. 
  • The first day of sixth grade is August 27 (we call this day KickStart).

 

START TIME:8:35 AM 

END TIME: 3:10 PM

 

BUS TIMES/ROUTES: vansd.org/buses

 

STUDENT TEACHER/CLASS ASSIGNMENTS: 

Teacher and class assignments can be found in ParentVue. 

  • Elementary students’ information will be available August 21.  
  • Middle and High students’ information will be available August 23.

 

It is possible that some students will be reassigned to different classes and/or teachers the first weeks of the school year to help us balance classes as necessary. 

 

EARLY RELEASE DAYS:

Every MONDAY school will end at 2:10 PM – 60 MINUTES BEFORE REGULAR RELEASE

 

The following Wednesdays will also be early release days:

 

School will end at 1:10 PM – 120 MINUTES BEFORE REGULAR RELEASE

 

  • November 6
  • January 8
  • March 5
  • May 7

 

Don’t forget – immunizations must be current in order to attend school on the first day!
