Calling all high school juniors interested in starting your career in construction and the trades! This summer PAID internship is for you!
This paid 8-week program will combine classroom instruction at the Pacific Northwest Carpenters Institute with PAID on-the-job training at a construction site.
Apply here bit.ly/CTI-2021. You will need to have a current or recent high school teacher’s email address to enter in the application as a recommendation. Don’t worry, you don’t have to get a recommendation so there’s still time! A form will be emailed to the teacher directly to complete.
What else do I need to know? The program runs from June 21st to August 13th with classes held at the Pacific Northwest Carpenters Institute at 4222 NE 158th Ave., Portland, OR. You need to be finishing your junior year of high school and have taken a CTE course (no it doesn’t have to be in construction)!
