The Science-Mathematics-Technology Magnet is dedicated to providing a challenging academic program that prepares students for college level study. The SMT Staff works directly with our student council and parent boosters to improve our program socially and academically through open communication facilitating a positive learning experience. SMT courses are offered at the Pre-AP and AP level. Click here for SMT requirements and a sample high school course schedule. If you are seriously considering a career with a foundation in science, math or technology, then the SMT Magnet is for you! Colleges and universities require specific classes in science and math for admission. Successful participation in the SMT program ensures students will have a competitive transcript when applying for admission at the schools of your choice.
