The Skyview StormBots are a 2009 rookie FIRST team that meets at Skyview High School.

We have a team of fourteen students in grades 9-11 who have been working under the guidance of nine mentors fom Boeing, Hewlett Packard, IBEW Local 48, iGrafx, Platt Electric and Western Integrated Technologies. We have designed two robots since November 2008. The first was designed as a simple chassis and drive train that could scoop up tennis balls and herd them into a corner of a playing field to score points. Our second design started January 3, 2009 and ended February 17, 2009 when we shipped our design to a storage facility to await our debut at the Oregon Regional FIRST competition.
