Clicks on the link "Members: View problem”  You may choose either Algebra or Geometry 

It will prompts you to type your username/password. (see me for list and write it down)

You will find yourself on the page that has the problem followed by the 

short answer field and the explanation field. Type and then 

submits your answer.

The first time you will be asked to check some boxes.  You want the one that says free mentoring when possible. Also you can add you parents or you email to the line listed.  You don’t have to add mine as I will get the web-based mail.

I want to encourage you to view the Answer Check.  I want to encourage you to leave a “Comment” because that will make your submission rise to the top of the queue – more likely to be mentored when there is free mentoring offered.

Remember you are trying to do your best and practice for the  WASL and future AP test or college entry test.  All are important.  Let the mathforum practice help you get better at math and problem solving.  HAVE FUN LEARNING!!!

7. When you clicks on "Message Center" you can view any email that the 

Math Forum PoW service has sent. It's like special web-based email 

BUT there is NO spam and NO other messages -- just all the PoW 

All messages stay there with the most recent on the top.
