Unit 1: Marvelous Matrices

1. Time Frame: ~13 days

2. Structure:

a) Teams Students will work in teams of four for assignments and in pairs for projects.

b) Spaces Large group presentation space, small group work

c) Equipment TI 83 or 84

3. Student will demonstrate his/her organize and interpret data using requirement graphs and graphs, determine dimension of a matrix, identify element and their meaning, identify equal matrices, add and subtract matrices, multiply matrix by a scalar, and multiply two matrices.

4. Use technology when appropriate to work with matrices.
