1/3 Individual: Journal writing, review assignments
1/3 Small group: Assignments, including review and practice tests
1/3 Large group: Presentation of lesson, Introduction to concepts, Calculator and Computer lessons
Assessment/Deliverables:
1. Quiz
2. Mod Test –
3. Project – Design a game (Use
Rubric on back)
4. The student will compare
experimental and theoretical probability, determine theoretical probabilities
using geometric models, find probabilities of complementary events, determine
expected values, identify events as independent or dependent, use tree diagrams
to determine probabilities, and determine conditional probabilities.
Create
a Game – create a game to share with your classmates. It must show your mastery of the topics in
Mod 13. The probabilities can not be a
simple 50-50. Game must be fair and then
adapted to be not fair or have an advantage. You must play or simulate the game
with multiple trials.
