3. Research Info: Divide up research for a Libyan delegate packet that you can all use. Decide what would be important to know. Hardcopy and presentation at a date to be announced (Decide date/ocassion: _____________________) Suggested division of info follow:

a) CIA Fact Page - possibly truncated to fit one page- a "hot sheet"
b) Allies and in what ways and for what reasons [prepares you in committee to justify alliances]
c) Your kind of Islam (Shite? Sunni?) and what that means.
d) Ideology/philosophy/principles of Libya. Explain type of government. What does Jamahiriya mean and why you have that name?
e) All about the US embargo on you and if it is still in effect.
Why you hate US with a passion.
f) Your greatest concerns with background (What do you want and why?)

Skiba: Can Russian Fed. be Libya's ally on any of our committee topics? In what ways? (or why not?)

4. Two Position papers on the MUN issues from Libya's point of view
Include in your notebook copies of each teammate's position papers.

5. Attend WASMUN preparation meetings and make submission deadlines
