The Great Socialist People's Libyan Arab Jamahiriya is greatly concerned about the Internet. There are two major issues that trouble the Libyan people. The first is the lack of Internet connectivity to smaller developing nations. Libya is also greatly distressed by the content of the Internet.
Libya is greatly concerned that the Internet is not accessible to all people. Now, more than ever, the Internet has become essential to business. However, there is a major problem. Small under developed nations are not as connected to the Internet and consequently their business and economy will eventually suffer. Those nations that agree that free trade is essential to global health must agree that Internet connectivity is essential as well.
Libya also takes issue with much of the content of the internet, specifically the pornography industry. Any Muslim nation should not allow this filth to be transmitted through their county. The international community needs to put severe restrictions on this horrible industry.
There are many issues surrounding the internet that need to be discussed. The Libyan delegation looks forward to conversing with delegates from all over the world. Libya hope that a solution can be reached that will be beneficial for all nations.
