2003 WASMUN EXPERIENCE

Chris Hope took his own computer
and became the center of activity in his committee.

Chris Hope takes charge in the African Union meeting with his commanding presence and voice.

Chris Whitling, smiling, perfected his diplomacy and coalition building
despite his radical Libyan positions.

In the World Health Organization, Natalya Skiba and Elias Gilman grappled with an emergency crisis just announced:  a nuclear accident.

Mr. Jenkins was the delegates’ favorite in the Middle Eastern Summit.  He mastered the role of diplomatic provocateur, winning friends and charming foes.

There were so many delegates in the WHO that Elias found it hard to gain the moderator’s attention so that he could speak.

Can you find Alex Rodewald?  Crammed in a double-room in the Husky Union Building, Alex served on a special General Assembly for Disarmament and Interanational Security.

Natalya joined another school team representing Russia.  This can be done because students do not compete as teams but as individuals.

The Delegate Dinner also served as a time to circulate among other delegates to discuss policy and influence voting:

Natalya, Alex, Devin, Elias, Chris W., Chris H. and Jeff Jenkins.
