2003 WASMUN AWARDS
The following is quoted from WASMUN publications.
WASMUN is an experience based on diplomacy, compromise,
knowledge, learning, and friendship. In the spirit of discouraging competitiveness
and encouraging cooperation, the individuals that best capture the spirit of
WASMUN in each committee were awarded Distinguished Delegate Awards.
Each delegate was given this honor based on their exemplary performance in one
of the following award criteria. The number next to your student's name shows
which criteria they were awarded.
1. Overall knowledge of the topic and country
2. Effectiveness within formal and informal debates
3. Leadership skills within formal and informal settings
4. Effort to overcome barriers
5. Effort to build collaboration with other delegates
6. Participation at the conference in general
