The curriculum handbook defines this course as: Senior English: A major goal of senior English is to reinforce strong writing and grammar skills to prepare students for academic and real-world writing. Literary Perspectives in Media plus Senior Project - 0.5 Credits Full Year This is a required project for graduation that expects students at the
senior level to produce a project independent of teachers and the 6 period day. It consists of a research paper and Personal
Portfolio (PDP) component. Skills to produce
quality products for these components are developed throughout the previous 3
years at Skyview. 0.25 credits are assigned each
semester – 1st semester focus is the research paper and 2nd semester
focus is the PDP. |
