Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
Welcome to Senior English: Perspectives in the Media with Dr. Questad. Please read over the pages in this packet and sign the confirmation below. Students will receive points for submitting your signature by the due date. They will also receive special instruction on this packet and be expected to pass a mastery test on the information given to assure understanding. This grade, along with all others for English will be posted on our class website at http://skyview.vansd.org/bquestad/index.htm. Grades will be posted confidentially on the class website to communicate progress.
We encourage you to bookmark our class website on your home computer. English grades are posted weekly there and can be accessed by clicking on "Your Grades" and then entering your student's last name (all lower case) and ID number. Please have your student bookmark this site for you. Assignment explanations can be accessed at “Assignment Log” and “Calendar” showing work done each day are also on our respective sites.
This packet of class information should be kept in your student's notebook for easy reference. A copy of this page is at the end of your packet for your reference. We are looking forward to a great year and meeting you at Open House on Thursday, September 29th.
