SENIOR PROJECT TIMELINE

The senior project is comprised of three main components (a research paper, ten hours worth of an activity that relates to a student’s senior project topic, and an oral board, or presentation, to teachers and community members).  Each student will be required to complete these three components in order to graduate in June.

During first semester, students will be required to complete and pass their senior research paper and complete their ten hours worth of activity.  While students will receive some assistance in their English class (time for research, encouragement to keep to deadlines, editing support), this is a primarily a student-centered project and it is up to each individual to decide upon a topic, research, write, edit, and arrange for and complete ten hours worth of related activity, all within the timeframe given.  While this project may strike some as daunting, previous students have found great success, as will you!
