Independent Myth Project Rationale
You are expected to read at least 10 Greek myths. They will acquaint you with the values, philosophy, religion and culture of ancient Greek society, the foundation of western thought.
Independent Myth Project Explanation
We will read several of the required myths in class. By the end of our class reading time, you will be expected to complete 10 log sheets, one for each myth. In general, the minimum effort on these logs is 250 words.
Project Booklets
At the end of the project you will need to turn in the pages for your booklet that contains the ten completed logs. Each 8 ½ x 11 inch booklet is to be constructed in the following way:
Cover (and back cover) are to be printed on card stockTable of ContentsTen Log Pages - each page must be on a different myth using a different log choice
Format
Write a minimum of 150 words or more for every entry (this is minimum effort)
Type each of your entries in size 12 font – Times New Roman or another script font.Each entry needs to be double-spaced.Each entry needs to have a heading that indicates the myth name.

Design the cover to reflect the themes, characters, or plot of any of the entries in your booklet. The following needs to be incorporated as part of the design:
