DEEPLY CONCERNED that many companies from G-8 countries relocate to take advantage of oppressed economies and impoverished workforces,

RECOGNIZING that numerous multi-national companies like Adida and Nike are subjecting their workers to physical abuse, forced overtime, sexual harassment and poverty-line wages,

SEEKING to improve conditions in all factories worldwide as well as the treatment of workers,

1. SUPPORTS the UN Preamble promoting the economic and social status of all people;

2. URGES that the UN work to enforce the principles upon which it was founded;

3. REQUESTS that the UN monitor the working conditions and treatment of all workers in multi-national factories.
