RECOGNIZING that there is a strong correlation between leukemia and cancer rates among troops exposed to weapons and ammunition using depleted uranium-jacketed ammunition shells,

DEEPLY CONCERNED that cancer rates among peacekeepers and civilian populations exposed to uranium-exposed weaponry has been documented,

REQUESTS a moratorium on the use of depleted uranium munitions.
