SUBJECT OF RESOLUTION: Israeli Abuse of Palestinian and Arab Human Rights

SUBMITTED BY: Iraq

AWARE of present concerns in the Middle East,

FULLY ALARMED by the escalation of conflict due to Israeli presence in the West Bank, the Gaza Strip, and Syrian Arab Golan Heights,

RECOGNIZING the importance of sovereignty to individual states and territories,

BELIEVING that a peaceful resolution of concerns is feasible dependent upon Israeli cooperation,

1.PROCLAIMS the rights of the Palestinian people in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip;

2.REQUESTS that Israel respect the Palestinian presence in the Middle East;

3.SOLEMNLY AFFIRMS the right to take the necessary actions in order to secure the sovereignty of Arabic nations;

4.CONDEMNS Israeli actions which ignore the Wye agreement, the Fourth Geneva Conference, and the Declaration of Human Rights;

5.CALLS UPON the United Nations to investigate crimes against the Palestinian people and try the responsible Israelis in the International Criminal Court.
