RECOGNIZING that genetically engineered foods are being used in baby food, restaurants and hospitals,

DEEPLY CONCERNED that allergic reactions have occurred when baby food containing genetically engineered food is eaten,

KEEPING IN MIND monarch butterflies and caterpillars are being killed because of the foods being genetically engineered,

GUIDED BY a study conducted by Greenpeace International demonstrating that more than 100 European butterfly species may be affected by genetically engineered corn,

REQUESTS that genetically engineered organisms be prohibited from being grown, distributed commercially or provided as humanitarian assistance worldwide.
