SUBJECT OF RESOLUTION: Energy Crisis

NOTING that the energy prices of today indirectly affect the goods and services as well as the food production and economic success of many countries,

AWARE that all nations are energy consumers,

URGES that an energy council be formed and attended by producers of energy and consumer countries alike for the purpose of explaining and idscussing future increases in the price of energy and its effects on other countries;

REQUESTS that the so-called energy council

1. advise countries on the conservation of finite resources;

2. finance research projects on alternative energy sources including solar and wind power

3. be comprised of Saudi Arabia, Mexico, The United Kingdom, The United States, New Zealand, The Netherlands, Indonesia, Norway and Japan.
