SUBJECT OF RESOLUTION: Cuban Embargo

AWARE of the fact that all but three countries in the UN, with 5 abstentions, voted to make the US drop economic sanctions on Cuba,

BEARING IN MIND that the US has still refused to drop the embargo against Cuba,

NOTING that this non-compliance results in economic discrimination,

DEEPLY CONCERNED that the Cuban people, not their government with which the US has ideological conflicts, are harmed by this embargo,

CONDEMNS the United States for rejecting the will of the United Nations;

CALLS UPON the UN to insist that the US discontinue its Cuban embargo.
