Princess Diana

As I walked down the aisle, the whole world held it's breathe. I was about to become the world's new princess.

The genre of this book, written about me, is biography. The title is Diana- Her True Story. The author is Andrew Morton; the publisher is Simon and Schuster Incorporation. The copyright date is 1992; the number of pages is one hundred and sixty.

My name is princess Diana, but I'm also known as the Princess of Wales. I'm a vibrant, caring, and beautiful person. I enjoy swimming, tennis, ballet, horseback riding, skiing, giving, playing the piano, and doing charity. I take pride in myself and the things I'm good at. I've won several contests for swimming and diving. I'm good at horseback riding, but since my falling off and breaking my arm, I've been a little hesitant just to get on one. For fun I enjoy playing tennis. Ballet is sort of a hobby for
me, a time I can relax. I never pursued ballet and dancing because I grew too tall to be a successful one. The piano was fun, but since my grandmother was a famous pianist, I often got ridiculed for not being perfect at it.

The only way that I found I could be an independent and successful person was by doing charity work. I love doing it; it gives me a feeling of self-achievement. So I did charity work very often. I believe I am a person with Interpersonal intelligence, which is the ability to understand others and their emotions. This is me because I'm caring and non-selfish.

I was born in 1961 and I died sometime in the 1990's. Some historical events that took place in my lifetime include the dismantling of the Berlin Wall in Germany. In 1985 seven astronauts and a teacher were killed when their shuttle blew up at the launching state. In 1969 Neil Armstrong was the first man on the moon. In San Francisco there was a horrible earthquake
causing a lot of damage, in 1989. I grew up in Park Place. After marrying Charles, I lived in the humongous Buckingham palace, in London. The palace was were all the royal circle lived. It has over 14 rooms and is a mansion, a palace.

The most interesting part of the book of my life was when the reader learns the true relationship between Charles and I. You see Charles was never in love with me, he was in love with Camilla (his mistress). He only married me because the Queen told him he had to marry. When the Queen told him this he said (note: not exact words), "I've found my bride, Camilla."

"I don't think so. You'd better find a suitable bride," replied the Queen.

What could Charles do? Even though he was in love with Camilla, he had no choice but to marry me. Of course, I, being completely blind, was in love with him and thought he felt the same way too. I became so very famous because I married the future King of England, Charles.

I was deeply in love with Charles (whom I called "sir" until we married) and when he asked me to marry him I jumped with glee. But a few days later, my heart broke. I found a gold bracelet with an "F" and a "G" intertwined. From what I had earlier learned I knew these were the initials for Charles and Camilla's nicknames. I almost called off the wedding but when Charles sent me a signet ring engraved with the Prince of Wale's feathers and an affectionate card, which said, "I'm so proud of you and when you walk up there I'll be waiting at the altar for you. Just look 'em in the eye and knock 'em dead." This gave me high hopes that their affair would end as soon as we were married. This proved wrong because they are still together to this day. This was the biggest conflict of my life.

What did I do to solve my conflict? I ignored it. Instead I put my
strength and time into charity and helping diseased. I spent time at hospitals and made friends with AIDS patients. I kept loving Prince Charles, but all this stress and feelings of nothingness gave me a horrible case of bulimia. Which lasted many years. I wasn't wise by trying to ignore Charles' love and his feelings. It made things worse. I shouldn't have denied things when they were looking me right in the face.

People could learn so much from my life. Even though I was living a horribly unhappy life, I never let it show. There was a smile pasted on my face. To everyone outside of the Royal Circle, I was a happy and cheery person. I took my unhappiness and decided I wanted to make others happy. So I handed out happiness. Whether it was by being their only friend or just
allowing them to meet me, the real Princess of Wales. The message of my life is always to think of others first. Be kind, caring, and consider others feelings.
