All poems must be typed.
Every poem must be accompanied by a relevant artistic effort. Images off the internet are acceptable. If they are ClipArt public domain images they do not need to be referenced. If they are any other image, a full MLA notation is required at the bottom of the image or the bottom of the page.

For the purposes of this book, couplets and triplets are not accepted.
No poem or image, whether yours or one you have chosen for Part I may include inappropriate material.

Part I: 10 Poems you like

Index alphbetically 10 poems you like. A maximum of 5 of these may include song lyrics, though song lyrics are not required.
Each poem must be followed by
1. What the poem means to you and why you chose it
2. A full bibliographic entry using MLA (fuller MLA example).

Part II: 10 Poems you are required to write
Each poem must have a by-line and follow the structure and requirements. A minimum of 5 must have images NOT from ClipArt and include MLA citation.

6. Definition Poem
7. Sonnet
8. Traditional Haiku
9. Narrative Poem
10. Questad Poem

Part III: 10 Poems you choose to write
A minimum of 5 of these may be second writings of any of the poems in Part II.
You may not enter a third trial of any same poem type.

Final Rubric
