FIELD TRIP NOTIFICATION
Dr.
Questad’s Creative Writing Class will be walking to

you have an emergency and need to reach your student during this time, please
call Chinook Elementary: 313-1600.
Those
students who have not submitted a book will either stay at SHS under special
supervision or they will accompany us to Chinook. If you need to reach your student and are
unsure if your student has prepared a book, Mrs. Holly Sanders will be able to
help you. Just call Skyview at 313-4200
and ask for her. She will know on
Thursday where your student is.
Please

APPROVED LESSON PLAN FOR CHINOOK
KINDERGARTEN PRESENTATION
Purpose: Upperclass students in Creative Writing have
written children's books to read to Kirsten Humber's kindergarten class
Time: Period 5 9:25 - 11:10 [Final testing schedule]
SHS
students will walk en masse with Dr. Questad, rain or shine, with books to
Chinook. They will report to Chinook
office and be directed to Kirsten Humber's classroom. They will arrive at approximately 10:00 and
leave at approximately 10:30.
Activity: This activity will be done in teams. 19 of Dr. Questad's students have completed a
book and Ms. Humber has 21 students. The
students will be divided into 7 groups, with 3 of Ms. Humber's students in each
group and 2-3 Skyview students in each group.
All students will receive lollipops.
The Skyview group will read their books to their students. If possible, Skyview students who did not
write a book will spend this time in the
