How old do you think I was when I won a pitch, putt, and drive contest for ten and eleven year olds? Well I was three years old. My Life was full of surprises, like when I shot my first 51 at age eight!
The genre of the book is biography. The title is Tiger Woods, and the author is Tim Rosatorte. The publisher is St. Martins Paperbacks and the copyright date is 1997. The total number of pages in this book is 275.
My name is Tiger Woods and I love to play golf. I have played golf since I was one year old. Golf is life to me. If there were no golf I would go crazy! I am half African-American and half Asian. I am 64" and I have a medium build. I graduated from Stanford University and did very well in school. I am the only child in our family and I am very devoted to my mother and father. I believe I have bodily kinesthetic intelligence. I have the characteristics of athleticism, sense of good timing and the perfection of skills through mind-body union.
I was born in Cypress, California in 1976. I have lived in California all my life. From going to school and golfing I managed to win the Jr. Championship shooting a fifty-one. I was eight at the time. In the following years I signed a forty million dollar contract with Nike and win the U.S. Amateur Championship.
My greatest conflict as a teenager was getting my swing perfected. I was always growing and could not get my swing down. I would hit the ball too far or too short. I would also have back spasms because I would hit the ball wrong. The other struggle was my grades in school. I did make good grades through school and got a 4.0 even thought I was constantly playing golf.
The way I resolved my conflict was by waiting until I was all grown up to expect my swing to be good. When I was older, I was able to get my swing down and I could drive the ball three hundred years with ease. I was wise by waiting until I was grown up so I would not hurt myself and jeopardize my golf game. I finally have a consistent, smooth swing and I can get on the green of a par four, four hundred yard course with three swings.
What you could learn from my story is to never give up. Keep your dreams in sight and never stop trying. I recommend getting involved in activities at an early age. I feel that a person should set positive goals and work very hard to attain them.
