A FAVORITE POEM: PRESENTATION
1. Read through some poems and pick one that you like.
Excited, inspired, funny or surprised,

2. Copy the poem, including the title and author's name, onto a Word document.
Make sure you include the title of the poem and the author.
3. Add a heading to your Word document, before your poem.
Your name, your class period and the date.
4. Add an introduction to your Word document before your poem. It should be a strong, substantiating paragraphor chart on the meaning of the poem. What does the poem mean to you? Substantiate your conjecture using one of the strategies.

5. Include an image enhancing your poem choice - ClipArt, magazine picture, your own art or properly cited image using MLA.

Make two copies (one you will use to present, the other will be followed by a panel while you present)
Turn both copies in - both are required
7. Your art doesn't have to be on both copies.
A copy for yourself is crucial. No one will be able
to present and get a grade if two copies are not turned in.
8. Practice the poem out loud for fluency and expression. Be prepared to present it to class tomorrow.
