STUDENT TAKE-OVER

For the last days of class, students have the opportunity to "take-over" the class.

1. Design a mini-lesson in creative writing, filling out the form on the back.
Once your lesson meets Dr. Questad's okay, sign up for a day to present on Dr. Questad's calendar.

2. Present the lesson to the class.
The lesson and production fulfillment should not be less than 10 minutes and should not exceed 20 minutes

3. Grade all student productions and submit to Dr. Questad, who reserves the right to adapt/change/alter...

ASSESSMENT
1. Each mini-lesson will be worth 25 points unless otherwise successfully negotiated with teacher.
Dr. Questad will add all student scores and divide by amount of projects presented.
(Helpful hint: So if you are absent you must make up the work either through finding out what the assignments were
or creating your own writing assignments.)
Option: Students may take out their lowest scored project and have their score divided by one less.

2. Each lesson presentation will be worth 10 extra credit points
and will be subjectively scored related to

* completed presentation form,
* presentation to class
* degree of creative writing learning experience provided

3. Partnering?
You could team up in pairs or threesomes to give more time for your project, but depending on the idea,
you may end up sharing the 10 points.

4. Time
First come first serve.

It is possible that this take-over will be so popular that there will not be time for all students to have an opportunity.
Preference will be given those who turn in their proposals first.
Those who have special reasons, but are later with proposals will be given special consideration.
